It's now possible to purchase the Nest smart thermostat and smoke detector directly through Google Play in both France and Ireland. Nest was purchased by Google earlier this year, enabling the tech giant to pick up new hardware that helps consumers keep their homes warm and safe, while saving some pennies on the side.
