Anyone know if this is possible? I guess tasker would be the answer but would it require root?

Edit: just to clarify, I mean changing the "silence connected phone" setting in the Android wear app to alert on both phone and watch, whenever the watch is charging. I often read in bed and put my watch on the charger. But then I don't get any notifications.
