Smartwatch noob here. Bought a Pebble a few weeks ago because I wanted to see how much a smartwatch would affect my life and it's made a much bigger impact than I thought it would. I feel like it'd be a safe investment to move up to a 'real' smartwatch running Wear. My biggest concern is the poor battery life on these things, I want something that has all the smartwatchey stuff without sacrificing the watch part. Are there any plans for a Wear watch that can survive a day (or preferably more!) with the display always-on?

(and a side question, do any of the current-gen watches get hot? These chips were in smartphones a few years ago and smartphones have always been able to get pretty hot, I don't want something that's going to get warm in an already-hot Australian summer!)
