I currently have a fitbit flex, and love the thing to death, but I'm looking to get an android wear device sometime this year (there are just too many things would would make my life easier with one, specifically smart lock).

From what I can tell, the step counting on all the current devices work alright, but the heart rate sensors blow. What are the odds there will be a fitness centered android wear device this year?
