Being able to automatically unlock my phone when my watch is nearby was the thing I was most excited about. It seems now, almost half a year later it's still not possible.

Have I missed the updates on this feature? There's an app that claims to fill in this functionality but it doesn't seem to work for rooted & encrypted phones like mine.
