ASUS ZenWatch vs. Moto 360
4:58 PMHello Reddit!
I'm in a dilemma. I'm torn between choices. ZenWatch or Moto 360? I just can't decide, and I need more information.
Specifically, what I need to know is the ambient mode battery life and how it works. I currently have a Sony Smartwatch 2, which lasts me a few days with the screen ALWAYS ON, but in low-powered state. If I'm gonna upgrade to Android Wear, I need an always on screen, since it's a watch. But how does it work on these 2?
As I understand, ZenWatch also has the ambient screen low-powered state, but as far as I know, it's low-powered screen is not pretty and not compatible with many watch faces. And Moto 360 doesn't have a low-powered state. But with the screen on, it means it looks prettier.
My question is, what is the battery life on both of these 2 watches when the screen is always on? Is the watch face compatibility with ZenWatche's ambient mode really that bad and can you fix it yourself for the watchfaces? Can I use Moto's 360 watchfaces on ZenWatch or it wouldn't let me?
