I just rooted my nexus 5 and upgraded to stock android 5.1.0. I reinstalled all the same apps on my phone/watch, am using the same watch face. However my battery drain has more than doubled, I used to get 3-4%/hr max, today I got 8%/hr. No dramatic change in messaging/notifications.
