Battery drain while streaming music in the car?

6:21 PM

So I've had my G Watch for about a week and I love it. However, I noticed a strange issue yesterday and then again today: I drove for about an hour and 15 minutes, and my watch drained about 20% of its battery in that time.

First of all, my car does not have bluetooth, so it's not a bluetooth issue. But I had my phone streaming music via the UListen app (which does audio-only streams of youtube videos) which I used to play on my car speakers via an audio jack from my phone's headphone output. Though I noticed that my watch displayed a card with the UListen app that was playing on my phone, I wasn't using my watch at all to control the music. I don't think I even touched my watch for the entirety of the drive.

Does anyone know what's going on?? Does your watch drain tons of battery when your phone is streaming music?
