Hi I've always worn watches face down on my wrist - so if I'm typing on a keyboard, the watch face is pointing at the desk.

This seems to confuse the hell out of the wake gesture on my G Watch. I try rotating my wrist in all sorts of angles - does anyone know what constitutes a look-at-watch gesture? Is it accelleromter based? Light sensor?
