Does the LG G Watch automatically stops loading when fully charged?

I just got my G Watch and want to charge it overnight. But I don't want to destroy the battery, so I want to ask if the watch automatically stops loading when fully charged (<- with the official charging dock, obviously). Thanks in advance :)
