What is SnapTask?

SnapTask is a tool for getting stuff done. It's NOT a todo app. All SnapTasks have a deadline. Once it's passed, the SnapTask is DELETED. You'll never get pestered by reminders for the same thing that never gets done.

• Create SnapTasks for yourself or others


• The recipient gets a notification when they receive a SnapTask


• Automatic reminders are delivered on the watch


• ALL SnapTasks have a deadline, no more than 2 days out


• In the morning you get a summary of your SnapTasks for the day (if you have any)


• When a SnapTask expires it's DELETED and both the creator and recipient are notified

Background:

I use todo lists to organize my life. They are great for projects and big tasks. What they are not great for is all the small stuff.

EXAMPLE 1:

My girlfriend often sends me SMS asking if I can do X or reminding me to do Y. Now she can create a SnapTask instead. I get automatic reminders and she gets visibility.

EXAMPLE 2:

In the morning I think "I have to remember to do Z today" so I add it to my calendar (which is the completely wrong tool). Instead I create a SnapTask for myself and set a deadline for 5PM.
