So an email comes in when I'm on a run, I tap it so it expands, read it all, realise I don't have to reply and then swipe it away, but despite having read the whole thing gmail doesn't mark it as read so I get the same notification on my PC when I get back home.

Is there any way of making this happen through something like tasker or IFTTT? If not then how does one go about making a feature request to Google?
