Is the watch battery stats next to useless (or am I holding it wrong)?
11:48 AMLG G Watch R. I took my watch off the charger this morning. Didn't really do much with it until I got to work, where I use the gym in my building. I used the Heart Sync app to continuously monitor my heart rate during my workout. At the end of my morning workout, my watch battery was down to 67%--which I expect after continuous heart monitoring.
But if I open the battery info in the wear app, it shows that the screen has used 3% and watch idle used 2%. And that's is all that's reported. If I open the Wear Battery Stats app on my phone, it plots the battery drain, but shows zero apps activity.
So I get that the battery drain is explicitly due to the sensors, not necessarily an app. But even when I've played on-device music from my watch for an hour straight, it's never registered as something using battery.
Is battery usage monitoring just broken on android wear?
