Has anyone been able to start and play Pocket Casts from your watch without queuing podcasts up on your phone?

I'm able to start a podcast if it is already in the "playing now" or "up next" queue, however if you don't have anything there, I can't seem to find a way to jumpstart Pocket Casts to play a specific filter or playlist.

So far, I've tried using Wear Tasker (+ a Tasker profile), Trigger, and Wear Music Controller to start Pocket Casts and simulating hitting the play button. Pocket Casts does not seem to offer an activity that would be analogous to 'play all.'

Any ideas?
