Looking at the Huawei watch, it looks like it's possible for the screen to be totally round if some of the electronics are moved to the lugs. If the next Moto 360 were to use the same approach, it could move the display driver and ambient sensor into the lugs while retaining the very thin bezel (that even the Huawei Watch doesn't have).
